There is beileved there is only one specie of Koala and that is Warm Blooded Koalas.
Quite early this century, sadly thousands of Koalas were shot/killed, as hunters were after their skins
Koalas are proably the only animals then survive on eating poisionus eucalytus leaves, as other animals are poisioned if they try one.
Did you also know that baby Koalas are named Joey.
Koala's never drink water, as they get all they need from eucalytus leaves.
Last Fact a new born Koala is about the size of a jelly bean....... Amazing isnt it?

Koalas life span for a wild Koala is 12-14 years, but if a person looks after them or kept in captivity, then Koala's can live up to as long as 16-20 years. Quite a few Koala's are killed by hunters, as the hunters want their fur, as its so soft, furry and smooth!
